I am so excited to finally get my first post up on my new blog! I am thrilled to share some of my most favorite fall recipes with you here, and I can’t wait to hear about what you’ve been cooking in your kitchen! I’m hoping this is a space where I can share both my own recipes and cooking ideas as well as some of my most loved recipes from other blogs, sites, and cookbooks.
Here is a recipe for a really simple yet delicious maple yogurt bowl . We combined maple yogurt, a homemade granola, and diced honey crisp apples. Then I topped it all off with a drizzle of maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon.
For the granola, we really like using a homemade recipe. I usually do most of my baking on the weekends but we needed some images to go up on the new blog, and Britt had been mixing Cheerios with his yogurt for three days – so I figured I better make it!
I use a recipe created by Katherine Taylor that I got from her blog Cookie and Kate. The recipe has a variety of nuts, is seasoned with vanilla and cinnamon, and as a finishing touch, we like to add some raisins and banana chips. I hope you get a chance to make it (your house will smell amazing) and let me know what you think. Definitely check out Cookie and Kate too!
We added 1/2 cup each of Pepitas, cashews, sliced almonds, banana chips, and raisins. I hope you get a chance to make the recipe… if not the yogurt bowl, definitely make the granola!
