I am super excited to announce that the Maple and Thyme Granola Shop is live and ready to take your orders!!! We have been working around the clock to get our online shop launched. Creating granola for people who love to eat has always been a dream of mine. Recently I was nudged into selling our granola products after I had prepared breakfast for my husband’s team meeting at work. After his team breakfast, he sent me a text that said “you just got your first order!” I had no choice but to figure out how to create a small batch granola company. Thanks for giving me the push Veronica!!!
From there, we hit the ground running and never looked back. We had to source ingredients, create labels, find a commercial kitchen space to bake in, figure out shipping and how much bubble wrap to use and establish an LLC. I am happy to say that we have finally checked off all of the boxes. Maple and Thyme Granola is officially ready to ship directly to your homes!
About Maple and Thyme Granola:
Our granola is made by hand in small batches with 100% pure maple syrup. We bake and package our granola in a certified commercial kitchen space in Norwood, MA. Our flavors are unique, seasonally inspired and made with the highest quality ingredients that I can find.
I started making granola because I was looking for an alternative to the sometimes tasteless granolas that I would bring home from the grocery store. My kiddos were eating lots of granola and I was trying to watch what I was eating, so needed a naturally sweetened and healthy granola. Soon I found Cookie and Kate’s recipe for The Very Best Granola. I used this recipe as a jumping off point and started playing around with different ratios in the recipes, granola baking times, flavors, nuts, and dried fruits. We’ve landed on a crispy granola that is naturally sweetened and baked with organic ingredients. Our flavors are creative, unique, and inspired by the ever changing seasons of New England.
I have worked tirelessly to be sure that you love your granola. This means sourcing the highest quality ingredients. Our organic maple syrup comes from Totman Hill Farm in South Pomfret, Vermont. The organic oats come from my buddy Leon in the bulk department of Whole Foods in Dedham, MA. Our macadamia nuts are roasted and salted by Hamakua Nut Company on the big island of Hawaii and shipped directly to us to be used in our granola. We go out of our way to source products that come from small companies who offer the best flavors and quality.
Our granola is perfect on top of your favorite ice cream or smoothie bowl, with a cup of yogurt, in a bowl with milk, or in a little container as a snack on the go. It would also be an insanely delicious crumble for a fruit crisp or a crunchy muffin topping. We love our crispy, sweet and salty Maple and Thyme granola and hope that you will too!
Our Flavors and Sizes:
- Maple Pecan – crispy oats, pumpkin seeds and crunchy pecans sweetened with 100% pure maple syrup and a pinch of maple sugar

Other Local Mom Built Businesses:
I can’t finish up this post without a shout out to a few other local mom businesses that I have watched start up and create amazing products. Each of these businesses shares a unique and creative product and all of these women behind these businesses have been huge supporters and sources of inspiration for me as I started up Maple and Thyme Granola.
Katie Bogart – I used to teach with Katie and she has created Bogart Interiors. She is an insanely talented Boston based Interior Designer and she partners with her husband Mike from The Bogart Finish to design stunning spaces that the both gorgeous and functional.
Anne MacLoed – Anne is a former teacher and used her creativity and knowledge of young kids to start Simply Knead. Anne creates sensory play dough kits that will keep your kids entertained for hours!
Michelle Pringle – Michelle runs Papa Joe’s Salt based in Medford Lakes, NJ. She has a good eye for detail, a sharp business mind and her salt is insanely delicious! She’s a super cool person and also happens to be an awesome sister-in-law!
Julie Steinberg – Julie sells Mexican Home and Garden items in her Etsy Shop BirchBoxDoves. She is also a packaging and shipping expert and has been a huge resource and support to me.
