The Super Bowl is just a few days away and I’m sure you are in full menu planning mode. To make life a bit easier for you, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Maple and Thyme recipes that would be perfect for your celebrations. These recipes are all guaranteed to please a crowd of any size. We’ve got you totally covered for your Super Bowl party!
So go relax, make your grocery lists, find your Patriots hoodie and stock that refrigerator with beer!
Easy Homemade Guacamole – this is my favorite guacamole recipe on the blog. It’s a little bit spicy and full of fresh cilantro and lime juice. Serve with a big bowl of your favorite tortilla chips or add it to a veggie platter.
Maple Roasted Pecans – these Maple Roasted Pecans are delicious served in a little bowl on their own but also amazing on top of a salad or added to a meat and cheese board. These pecans are crunchy and the perfect balance of sweet and salty.
Main Courses to Feed a Crowd:
Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Turkey Chili – I love this chili recipe because you can set it up in the morning and literally forget about it until you are ready to serve it. Set up a chili bar with some cheese, sliced jalapeño, sour cream, avocado and corn bread.
Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos – these tacos require a little bit more time and effort than the chili does but they are delicious! You can prep the slaw and sauce ahead of time and leave the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator. You’ll just have to grill the chicken and warm up the tortillas before the game.
A Favorite Cocktail:
Blood Orange Bourbon Smash – your guests will love this drink! This cocktail is refreshing and full of sweet citrus and warm ginger flavors. This is a great option for people who aren’t feeling the beer.
Brown Butter Milk Chocolate Chip Blondies – you’ll love the butterscotch flavor of these brown butter blondies. With crispy edges, chewy middles, chunks of milk chocolate, these blondies are a real crowd pleaser. You can mix these blondies up and have them into the oven in about 10 minutes!
Best Fudgy Brownies – I’m going with another bar cookie here. I feel like they are just easy, especially for a crowd. You pretty much bake them and forget about them. You just need to remember to cut them into squares once your guests are ready for something sweet.
