No Bake Almond Butter Cacao Energy Bites

An easy to make, high protein energy bite filled with gluten free oats, creamy almond butter and cacao nibs. This healthy energy ball recipe is sweetened with agave and flavored with vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt. This recipe will satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you on track with your healthy eating goals.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free, quick cook rolled oats
  • ¼ cup protein powder
  • ½ cup cacao nibs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl and combine the oats, salt, protein powder and cocoa nibs. Mix gently to combine.
  • Add the almond butter, agave and vanilla and mix until well combined.
  • Use your 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop the dough. Use your hands to make them into balls.
  • Move balls to the refrigerator for an hour before enjoying. Refrigerate any leftover balls in an airtight container for up to a week.
