About Stone and Skillet English Muffins
Stone and Skillet English muffins are not just for breakfast. We literally eat them around the clock over here. These are truly some of the best English muffins I’ve ever had! They’re hearty and doughy. I love to grill the muffins in a frying pan with butter…this makes for the crispiest edges and warm, chewy middles. These are perfect toasted with peanut butter and jam and they’re also the best way to serve your favorite sandwiches.
Stone and Skillet English muffins are baked right here in Boston and it’s been amazing to watch this company grow. I first started buying these muffins in a small local grocery store about 6 years ago. Now you can find almost all of their flavors in major grocery store chains like Whole Foods and Wegman’s. I’ve tried all of their flavors and the Original is a true classic. Some of my other favorites include the Orange Cranberry and Everything.

How to Make the BLT Platter
This is such a fun dinner platter to make and it’s truly just so easy. You’ll start out by frying eight ounces of your favorite bacon until it is nice and crispy. I personally am a frying pan bacon maker.
In a medium frying pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until it’s nice and brown on each side. Move to a paper towel to drain. You can also microwave bacon on a paper towel lined plate. Cook for about 1 minute per slice. Some people also like to bake the bacon at 400° in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
While the bacon is cooking, cut your English muffins in half, slice the tomato, make up the spicy mayo (1/4 cup mayo with 1/4 teaspoon smoked chipotle pepper powder), wash your greens and slice your avocado. Arrange ingredients on your favorite platter and get ready to grill the English muffins.
Once the bacon is finished cooking, you’ll grill the English muffins. Spread softened butter onto each English muffin half and grill, over medium heat until golden brown. Add the warm English muffins to your platter and dinner is served!
